Book Review: The Time I Saved the World by Jes Drew

What’s up, Arrowheads? To kick off February (#mybdaymonth), I’ll be starting off with a review for Jes Drew’s final installment of the Ninja and Hunter series, The Time I Saved the WorldBut, that’s not all! Be sure to come back here on Monday, February 4th for a special blog tour post for Jes’s newest release, Mind of Darkness, that combines the characters of the Ninja and Hunter series and the Castaway’s series! It’s all kinds of awesome, my friends. But first, let’s get to this review!

The conclusion of The Ninja and Hunter Series proved to be the final installment I craved as a reader.

Highlights:

Charisa and Kyle’s Chemistry

I love how these two banter with one another. You can’t help but ship them! ❤

Charisa’s Dad’s Involvement

It was fun to watch Chrissie’s dad, a cop, get involved with the mission in this installment. It was also hilarious to see his reaction to Kyle. XD

Courtney

I’m pretty sure Courtney, Charisa’s little step-sister, is my favorite character in this series. She is kind, selfless, and always willing to put others’ needs above her own. I loved the way she made a huge difference in this final installment.

The Tie-In from Book Two

A character that made a short appearance in book two infers something that happens in book three that I totally wasn’t expecting. Great use of foreshadowing!

Overall, The Ninja and Hunter Series is a series that I highly recommend to fans of the Marvel universe, and fans of clean young adult fiction alike. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars.

That’s it for today, Arrowheads! Like I mentioned before, be sure to check back here on Monday for a stop on Jes Drew’s Mind of Darkness blog tour!

Later Arrowheads,

-Allyson 😀
